MCO phase 3 (15-28 April 2020)

Yes, it's now MCO phase 3! I could not believe how time passes so fast, and I could not believed I've been lock down at HOME for more than a month.

      It's been great working at home, but not so great when your laptop is dead and sharing laptop instead. It's not really convenient working at home, with no proper desk and makes us very sluggish and not productive.

     Good thing that I've picked up some basic cooking skills, just few types of soups and fry vegetable. Working out almost every night plus one cheat day (to comfort myself but end up feeling guilty!).
My depression attacked me while I'm having my menstruation, making me lack of confident and making me feel like I'm wasting my time everyday at home.
I'm trying to think of some ideas to occupy my time but it just doesn't work, which makes me even more disappointed.

    We as a travel agency have been affected badly including the tourism. No one can travel, few countries has been locked down, flight is not operating, etc... Business is getting very bad and people are getting anxious. SARS happened more than 10 years ago, but COVID19 is the worst. Million people died and the numbers are increasing. Malaysia is affected because of the group of people who are stubborn and passes the disease everywhere!
Fortunately, I'm working in a very well organised and stable Travel company, which provides very good benefits to staffs.

   One thing that affect me the most, is the online training/webinars that is been giving to us NONSTOP, and expecting us to finish it in such short time. It's good to pick up some knowledge to brush up skills during pandemic times, but one after another with deadlines - this is forced learning. When it comes to forced learning, it becomes a burden. While operators is handling customers, while we have to study other regulations, while we need to brainstorm for upcoming agendas, these e-learning is making me stressed out. Not one, not two, but total of around 60-70 modules +  webinars with deadline. To be frank, non of this knowledge goes into my mind, except for ticketing training which requires more focus and practices.
Customer is chasing for refunds, cancellation, changes, rules changes everyday. Bosses is asking for sales, updates, ideas, meetings. So our pay is getting cut by this month, income is lesser and burden gets heavier.

    Depression attacked me bad yesterday, and I locked myself and cried in the room for 2 times. Because I don't understand what am I doing everyday except pleasing everybody. It felt better afterwards and ended up working out for 2 hours.
It come back again when I started my work, where messages is coming in non-stop, and traumatise when phone is ringing. I have no interest in anything and I don't feel motivated at all.

   I'm sure that I am one of those who suffered from this because they are at home too long.
If happens that anyone is reading this blog and going thru the same thing, I hope that we can go thru  this together. Many noises in my head and it really drives me crazy sometime.

 

 

19.03.2020 Chaotic Covid19

       This is my 2nd day of working from home, and I never felt such bored before. Although I'm still working, but working desk on bed doesn't sound productive to me. I always find my way out of house if needed for me to work because I know working from home is a big 'NO NO' to me.

       But this time is exceptional. Movement Control Order is implemented to stop the virus.
Oh Lord please make this stop. Malaysia has gone up from 100+ to 400+ new cases in just one day, and it's 790 cases as of today! People are still going out, gather and chilling out like nothing happen. People coming home as if its a 2 weeks long holiday while bringing the virus along.
It's the 2nd day already, the Policemen took action by having roadblocks, patrolling around to ensure no one is having their sweet holiday outside of their house! 

 

                                                                                                      

      While cases are in need to be controlled, some Malaysian still take this very lightly.
While China is already ZERO case reported as of today. Well done China!

      I am so desperate to travel since it was a busy year for me last year. So I supposed to travel on May, but it seems very low percentage of me going, unless everything can be recovered within a month (which is impossible).

    I am still trying to brush up my English and trying my best if I can write good article while being quarantine at home for this two weeks. Cracking my head to write something interesting, and nothing cringe when I'm turning to my 30s this year!!

   Malaysian, let's face this together and fight hard! We can do this!

Time passes so fast and it's already a new year.

I was performing at Gurney Plaza with my band(AcidicBunch), and it was a CRAZY night!

It's packed and the crowd was AMAZING!

All our friends came to support us that night too.

It's was a magical night, and I'm really happy with last night's performance.

We had the best sound system and I enjoyed a lot!

Amazing

It's amazing how people's life change every time.

Whats on my mind now?

I just feel like there is so many things for me to explore.

Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in a cave where I can only see what's around me.

I do get jealous when people travel.

Most of the time its because i have no $$, but yet I really wish I could.

Ever since I work here(if you know), I've seen a lot.
I changed a lot.
I wanted more wisdom.
Not from reading, but from exploring.
I wanted more recognition, so I started look into courses to get a cert.
Because I regretted for not finishing my study.
My confidence only build when I'm singing, but not while working.
I have no creativity, I'm afraid to express my Idea because I'm afraid of being rejected.


But I do felt happy because of what I am now.
Trying to be better.
Trying to  be independent.
Trying not to rely on people.
Trying to have recognition.
Trying to be SUCCESSFUL.

I know it's hard for me.
Sometimes I feel like giving up.
It's like starting from zero again.

I do wish people can support me and not letting me down.

It's been 4 years as a Christian, and I never feel left out by HIM in any circumstances.

I never has such great feeling for life since I was young, and how HE had change my life since then.

Ever since I'm believed in HIM, HE gave me:

-A blessed life

-A wonderful partner

-Different perspectives in life

-Faith in HIM

-Accomplished mission

- a happier me

-lots of blessings!

and many more ! 

And I do know, sometimes he will gave me task to go thru.

But all of those task, is to make a better me.

He often remind me to be a great prophets, a person who inspire, and a great follower.

Sometimes I failed to do so, and he gave me chances.

Thank you Lord for changing my life.

There is no word I can describe how grateful am I now.

If you have seen my previous post, I do wrote about AB(Acidic Bunch) before, but a short one.

AB is a band where I've joined 5 years ago. They discovered me while one of my keyboardist was playing a gig for a annual dinner.

AB had thought me a lot.

 From a sequencer, to a live band's vocalist.

And I started from very shaky, non-confident vocalist. And today, many people says that I improved a lot!

Daniel C (also known also Daniel Chan) is a very talented singer song writer from Penang. A very pop and country style genre which suit many people's music taste.

Some of the radio listener might have voted him at Hitz.FM Malaysian English Top 10 and he is reigning the charts for about a month when he debuted his single, ‘If I Could’ 

He will be performing his originals alongside The Mætheads (Reuben on keyboard, Jay Sern on bass and Jordan on drums).

2. Kien Lim Duo

Kien Lim Duo is a terror mix of blues and grunge. Also includes the genre of: Folk,Rock,Blues,Alternative,Country

The duo consists of Kien Lim (singer songwriter and guitarist) and Jordan Scully (drummer). 

You must listen to one of his song, which is also one of my favorite song called Demon's Door.

Mixture of Rock and Folk Rock, plus his not so innocent lyrics, and powerful, dreamy vocals, take one on a mesmerizing trip to unexpected places.
